Event Details

We would like to invite you to a showcase event to mark the completion of Happenstance, from 3-5pm on Monday 24 September at NESTA, 1 Plough Place, London, EC4A 1DR.

Happenstance is one of the pilot projects funded by the NESTA/Arts Council England/AHRC Digital R&D Fund for Arts and Culture. It's an innovative residency programme that opens up creative and digital opportunities for arts organisations and technologists.

You will hear from:
Jon Kingsbury, Director, Creative Economy Programme, NESTA
Laura Sillars, Artistic Director, Site Gallery
Honor Harger, Director, Lighthouse
Helen Legg, Director, Spike Island
Katy Beale and Rachel Coldicutt, Directors, Caper
Chris Bilton, Director, Centre for Cultural Policy Studies, University of Warwick
And some of our residents: Leila Johnston, James Jefferies, Natalia Buckley, Kevin Walker, Linda Sandvik.

Find out about the wider cultural and creative impact of Happenstance and discuss the project and the Digital R&D Fund for Arts and Culture, with its participants, producers and funders.

There will also be a chance to network. Refreshments will be provided.

Space is limited so RSVP is essential. We hope to see you there.
